Todd Mintz CPA, CA FRCGS
Todd obtained his Bachelor of Administration designation from the University of Regina in 1990 and his CPA, CA professional designation in 1994 being admitted to Partnership in 1997 and appointed Managing Partner in 2007. Prior to joining MWC he articled at KPMG.
Todd has served on the Fees Review Committee, Convocation Committee and the Communications Committee with the Institute of Chartered Professional Accounts of Saskatchewan. Todd was also selected nationally by the Canadian Professional Accountants to be profiled across Canada in their December 2006 and February 2018 issues of the CPA Magazine. He has been featured twice in the University of Regina Alumni Magazine.
Todd has volunteered as the President and Treasurer for the Offroad Syndicate Mountain Bike Racing Club including organizing provincial mountain bike races. He served on the Regina Progress Club Center Executive and the Board for the Society for American Wines.
As a result of his extensive Arctic travel Todd was honoured to be awarded a Fellowship of the prestigious Explorers Club whose individuals have contributed in broad terms to the cause of exploration and who evidence a sustained interest in some field of scientific exploration and the furtherance of scientific knowledge of the world. He was also inducted as a Fellow in the Royal Canadian Geographic Society in 2018 for his contributions to the knowledge of Canada,
In 2023 Todd was awarded the Queens Platinum Jubilee medal for his contributions to furthering the knowledge of Canada and the Arctic.
Todd is a member of Ocean Artists Society which focuses on using ocean art to inspire people around the world to a greater awareness of our need to protect and preserve our natural environment. Recently Todd completed 2000 kms by snowmobile pulling a komotik in the Canadian Arctic. He travelled from southern Baffin Island to the northern tip, an incredible feat few Arctic explorers have accomplished.
He is an accomplished explorer and international award-winning photographer. Todd was awarded Best of Show in the internationally prestigious Nature’s Best-Smithsonian Natural History Museum-Oceans Views competition. His images have been part of two exhibits in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington DC. In addition they have been featured on the exhibit hall banners and promotions throughout the Smithsonian.
Other award highlights include being selected as part of the International Conservation Photograph Awards exhibit in conjunction with the Burke Museum in Seattle multiple times and part of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Canadian Nature Museum, Canadian Museum of History, and Saskatchewan Science Center collection. Todd has completed two solo exhibits of his work at the Saskatchewan Science Center and Kramer IMAX Theatre in 2015 and 2017 with over 45 pieces on exhibit. (His exhibit was extended due to popular demand.) His work continues to be published in numerous media throughout the world including a Canadian Geographic magazine cover and the Magic School Bus series.
